November Guess Those Genetics!

It's back!

Once again, some of the studs got out, ran amok, and sowed their wild oats and now I have to figure out these babies and what they will carry! Can you pretty please help me out again? Yall did such a great job last time I know you can help me solve the mystery again!

Here's how the scoring will work!
Color name: 1 point for each correct name and 1 point extra if it is in the correct order as written on HaJ ***there are NO penalties for incorrect guesses
ex: a gray blue roan- if you type blue roan gray, you will get 3 points for having all three names but only 2 points extra because gray is not in the correct order for a total of 5 points out of 6 possible points.

Genome: 2 points for each correct set of alleles in correct order, 1 point for correct set of alleles but incorrect order, 1/2 point for 1 correct allele but missing other one (i.e. foal has 2 copies of flaxen but you wrote f/_) Pay attention carefully though- this is where you can lose points! If you miss a set of alleles the foal has (i.e. foal has 2 copy of flaxen and you didn't write at least f/_), 1/2 a point will be subtracted for every set of alleles the foal has but was not written in your guess.

White factor will be used as a tiebreaker so please include them in all your guesses!

I have six crosses planned for November that I want you to guess what color the resulting foal will be. This contest will be based solely on predicting the color.

Thanks to a very generous donation from @TheBlueMoors, the prize pool for this contest will be increased.
250,000 HB Prize to 1st place.

150,000 HB Prize to 3rd place.

Ok, rules first.

1: New players under 6 months only. Preferably with only one account on Mesa server, but that could change depending on how many people enter. Accounts on other servers do not count at all for this.

2: Only one entry per person.

3: Please feel free to ask for straws from any stud I own that is old enough to breed. Those will be at pull price for all entrants and will not affect your chances of winning. So even if you don't win, you can still get a start at bootstrapping from my studs if you want. Basically, everyone can get something.

Rules:
1) Must have three or more tack items
2) Max of two entries (horses) per player
3) You can use another players horse for your entry - with permission (so if you don't have tack items you can still participate- give credit to the owner)
4) Entries will be from now until the 31st.
5) Voting will be done by "likes" (you will need to use desktop version to vote)
6) Wait for second post for voting, will be posted Nov. 1st

Prizes will be awarded to the top three *players* So if a player has the top two voted tack ups, it only counts as one placement (hope that made sense).

So I had someone reach out to donate prize money for a free contest I was hosting there....it actually turned out amazing and felt so good for both of us to be able to bless someone that way....... so the idea I've been bouncing around in this air head of mine is....... what if we created a select group of people willing to donate, the members rotate who's hosting/ donations so the responsibility doest just belong to one person. Maybe every 2 weeks host/fund the event so you still have time to run your own account or other things, event time frame could be minimal 4days, max 15?? So everyone gets a chance to see and compete, then we do a vote where the contests can vote or we can vote and pick the winner...... I don't know lol just been thinking alot about this lately

Soooo I'm obsessed with the new breed art and I know tack changes are coming soon, but in the meantime I would love to have some help tacking up my barn!

Welcome to the first ever Ramshorn Sport Horses Futurity Raffle! I am offering an incentive to breed to five lovely stallions in hopes of making sure they qualify for Futurity contention in June. HB prizes will be awarded to five winners in February and five winners in June!

How Do You Enter The Raffle?
-Breed to one of my Futurity Stallions during the month of February. The mare you use must have an era that matches the stallion, OR have an era that is greater than the stallion.
On February 28th each foal that you own, which matches the era of their sire, counts as 1 entry in that stallion’s February prize pool.
-To enter the June prize pools, you must keep your foal until after Futurity prizes are awarded at the end of June.
On June 28th each 5 year old that you own, which matches the era of their sire, counts as 1 entry in that stallion’s June prize pool.
-It’s that easy! I don’t need any registration or official notification you want to participate. Anyone with a foal/5 year old that meets the qualifications will be automatically entered in the prize pool.

Using Straws for Breeding?
I will offer straws at HALF of the usual stud fee for these stallions if you send me a private message or post here that you are wanting to use the straws for Futurity foals.

Winners and Prizes
-Each stallion will have its own prize pool in February, and its own prize pool in June. That means there will be 10 winners in total!

Studliest Stallion Alive Competition: RESULTS ANNOUNCED!

Welcome to the voting phase of our Studliest Stallion Alive Competition. We have 15 stunning entries vying for the title! Please feel free to use this thread to promote and discuss your favorites, or show off foals sired by these lovely stallions. Stallions owners are also welcome to advertise live cover or straw options for their stallion in this thread. All of these lovely studs are worthy of a little extra attention this month! The nominated stallions will be detailed in the next post, so be sure to check them out there!

You will only be able to vote for three stallions total. The order in which you rank your three votes will matter. Here's how it will work:
-Your 1st Choice Vote will receive 3 points
-Your 2nd Choice Vote will receive 2 points
-Your 3rd Choice Vote will receive 1 point
At the end of the voting phase, the stallions will be ranked by their point totals to determine their placing for prizes. Voting will close at noon game time on May 22nd.
Please submit only one voting ballot. If you submit more than one ballot, all of your voting ballots will be discarded.
Do not select the same stallion for more than one choice. If you do, your entire voting ballot will be discarded. I do not want any unfair vote stacking by giving your top choice 5+ points towards his total.
Choose carefully, you will not be allowed to edit or change your vote later!

VOTE USING THE GOOGLE FORM HERE. You should be able to vote without creating any sort of account or sharing personal information. If you have a google account it may show your account in the form, but it should also show a "Not Shared" icon indicating that I will not see your e-mail/account in your responses.

Here are the prizes up for grabs:

1st Place
Stallion Owner: 1,500,000 HBs, and the rights to use "Studliest Stallion Alive!" in marketing their stud.
Nominator: 150,000 HBs, and a Foundation Stallion with 50 GMTs worth of GMT edits. Stallion and edits will be chosen by the nominator after winning.

2nd Place
Stallion Owner: 750,000 HBs.
Nominator: 75,000 HBs and 1st Choice from the Nominator Prize Pool.

3rd Place
Stallion Owner: 500,000 HBs.
Nominator: 50,000 HBs and 2nd Choice from the Nominator Prize Pool.

4th Place:
Stallion Owner: 375,000 HBs.
Nominator: 37,500 HBs and 3rd Choice from the Nominator Prize Pool.

5th Place:
Stallion Owner: 300,000 HBs.
Nominator: 30,000 HBs and 4th Choice from the Nominator Prize Pool.

Welcome to the search for the Studliest Stallion Alive! We are on the hunt to find the stud that is most desired by our Mesa Server Members!

Help us out by participating the nomination phase. You may nominate 1 stallion, which must be owned by another player. Nomination phase rules and a prize preview is detailed below. I also want to be sure to thank some extremely generous sponsors who are helping make this possible!

It's a Hunt And Jump Scavenger Hunt! Prizes available throughout the remainder of April!

Welcome to Mesa's Year 37 Scavenger Hunt! There will be multiple winners and multiple prizes offered for the rest of April. So check back often to see if a new round has been posted!

How it Works:
-Each round I will post something specific I am looking for in a horse. It might be a horse with a heart shaped marking, it might be a horse wearing a certain tack item, etc. Each round you will be looking for a horse on the Mesa Server that meets the specifications asked for.
-The first person to post a link to a horse that meets the criteria will win a 37,500 HB Prize!
-If you are the winner of a round, please sit out the next round, but feel free to join back in on the round after. (Example: The round 1 winner would sit out for round 2, but could win again in round 3).
-I'll post new rounds periodically throughout the rest of April. I expect at least 7 rounds, but I may increase that as my cash flow allows.
-Rounds may increase in difficulty, depending on how the first few rounds go.

Send me a PM if you would like to contribute towards scavenger hunt prizes this month. If there's enough interest from donors I will increase the prize amount and decrease the time between each round!

Donors Wanted for Year 38 (May) Studliest Stallion Contest

If I can get enough donors for prizes I would like to run a Studliest Stallion Alive contest during the month of May. Phase 1 would include a nomination period where other players can nominate a stallion owned by another player for the contest. Phase 2 would include a voting period with a ranking list posted at the end.

I am hoping for some decent HB prizes for at least 1st-3rd place. Maybe a little prize offered to the nominating players as well so they get some of the goods.

The Pot of Gold Classic: Foal Breeding Contest - Closed - Results Announced!

***Per popular demand this event has been copied from Bluegrass. Contest and graphics were all developed by the amazing CheshireFarms and full credit goes to them for this awesome idea. I have made a few changes to the rules to make it a little less hectic for our small Mesa family by only allowing one foal per person and Top 5 will get awards***

Special Event for Non-Fantasy Foals

Celebrating the luck of the breeding season for Year 36! Players can enter any Non-Fantasy foal they bred for the chance to win. Don't worry there is a contest for the Fantasy Foals as well (See Here). The top 10 fan favorites will then be awarded cash prizes!

The objective is to breed the most colorful foal this season!

Event opens March 17 and closes March 31
Voting takes place throughout the length of the event
Votes will be totaled April 1, and winners announced (no April Fools here!)
Only 1 foal per post per person
Foals must have a link to the foals page
Foals must be bred during Year 36
Foals must be bred by you
Foals must not have Fantasy Genes (See Here for Fantasy Contest)
Voting works as follows:
1. You can vote as many times as you want
2. If you like a foal you can vote by clicking "Thanks" on the top of their post
3. The Top 5 foals with the most "Thanks" will be awarded prizes
4. The "Thanks" button may only be visible in desktop mode, but you can switch your mobile browsers to desktop. PM me if you have any issues!

The Top 5 foals with the most votes will be awarded prizes
Settling ties will be determined if/when they happen at the close of the event
Each of the Top 5 foals will receive $125,000 hbs (equals 1 GMT)
