I thought the new upgrade would be stacked on top of the current one (IE, add 365 days to it), but instead it shows the two upgrades as separate - the old one listed as 'active: n'. The old upgrade still has 20-something days on it. What happens to those days?

Fortunately we are two months into 6. Unfortunately I already decided I wanted to only lightly do 6 and see if I could do it mostly using outside stock. This plan, while fun, will not lead me to the best era 6 stud. [2]

I could wait, watch the era 6 leaderboards, buy an embryo or two at gen 8, max then, double boost them, and get an era 4 *** stud, but then it isn’t home grown. I’ve put a lot of effort into a home grown [3] era 4 and I’m not sure how I feel about this. For me and me alone and my playstyle alone, it feels like cheating. Like only doing half of the work— the mare side.

I could also just not have an era 4 *** stud but that seems like madness.

In closing, I hope someone in era 5 is breeding big non-fantasy drafts, because I have none of these concerns for era 3. :)

Also how should I organize my horses in my barns? I’ve tried multiple things and it’s not working! I’m behind and lost on some breeding projects and honestly some have completely stopped or failed since I haven’t been able to give any attention to them!

Foal in question was somehow immediately transferred to DarkPhoenix after I bred it using an embryo from SummerMonarch. Is it possible we somehow implanted embryos at the same time, resulting in creating a chimera with the two foals that would’ve had the same ID number? Does **Star or **Gold status always mean that the horse is at the natural breeding level cap? Or could there theoretically be a **Star that comparison tests Superior to another **Star?

The reason I am asking is that I have finally reached **Star level on the stallions in my Era 0 herd. Am I totally maxed out, or is there room for improvement (without boosting)? I don't have intentions to spend funds on boosting anything at this point in time.

I planned out this particular breeding match to produce this fellow in hopes of having a stud that I am reasonably certain is at cap level (after his GMT makeover).

He's got a ***star sire, and a **gold dam. The dam is from ***parents on both sides and has been maxed, so I am nearly certain she would be at the natural cap. So logically it makes sense to me that a maxed foal from two parents who are at or above cap should be at the cap himself.

However I got this message as I went to go send them a horse with said license:
“Warning: This is your last license for this gene. You will lose your access to this gene once gifted.

If you send this horse you will not be able to purchase or breed horses with this gene. Do not proceed unless you are 100% certain you wish to lose access to this gene. This can not be undone!”

However, I breed horses with the license and have a full barn full of them. If I send this particular horse will I lose my license as well? Very confused because it is definitely not the last horse I own with this license.
