Potentially silly question but is possible max height for a foal at all correlated with their bone weight?

For example: two foals from the same mare and stallion: one is 16.1 hands and the other is 16.3, but the shorter has a slightly heavier bone weight. Are those at all connected or are they both a bit random based on what the parents can give?

It's a foundation horse with a licensed gene I purchased from another player - I already had the license for the gene on one of my own foundation creates but that horse has since died.

I was able to gift a different foundation horse with the same gene earlier today, which I had purchased from a player as well. Did that give away the original gene I bought for the horse I created myself? Crap. What does that mean as far as being able to buy/breed that gene now?

I’m wondering if anyone has experimented with chestnut shades and knows if darker/lighter shades are hidden heritable traits or just random?

I noticed that some of my horses with the exact same genes were pretty varied and I was hoping to keep the more dark/chocolate coloring I saw in some.

I bred mares (30+ days in pasture) in a barn (public breeding) immediately after moving them to the barn, they still show the bonus after moving them back to the pasture. So I’m wondering does the pasture bonus apply in that case or does the pasture bonus only work in the pasture?

I bought the amount of GMTs needed to do the edits I wanted, got him homozygous for Cream, then went to change him to homozygous for Silver. It says that there are no available edits for - to Silver or W20 to Roan?

Now that he's cremello, I might remove the Cream I added, but would still like the others to change.]]>
