I know there were a few I saw that did not qualify for awards. I'd like to try and help get them the numbers they need, if possible. I don't normal do a ton of breeding projects but if I have the horses I'll breed and try to qualify my share.

Also I think if the LB are listed other player could help with them too. It may giving son of two players that don't yet have a breeding program to choose clubs that have fewer breeders competing.

I probably should have known this, but I didn't know chimeras can be bred! I got a surprise chimera that I'm very thrilled about. Anyone else have pretty chimeras they've bred?

Hey guys! Question for the more experienced players here…

I have an Era 9 line that was started from C papers.
When we swapped to Era 10 I created exceptional creates (era 9) to breed into my existing line.

Is this actually possible to do and still produce max ability per generation?

I started by crossing my new Expro stallions with existing G2 (red) mares… but the foals did not test AGA my 3G Benchmark…

What am I missing here?

Hey everyone!!
The last 5 seasons have brought a ton of change to my barn including completely culling and starting over with era 9 and picking up my first true higher quality horses from other members!

That said… I’ve had the goal of breeding a 15pt foal from my own horses and it’s feeling impossible.

So what is going wrong?

I own a top double boosted stallion that I know is capable of producing a 15pt (someone else bred one from him a few seasons ago)

I recently invested in 2 double boosted mares for him… they aged up yesterday and I’ve crossed both with him

I am implanting into mares with a pasture bonus.

I have maxed and made foals consistent and still can only get 14.9 pt.

I only have a handful of eggs left for the year from them so I’m just curious if I’m missing something potentially valuable?
Or if the mares are even capable like I thought…

Feeling rather defeated so would love any guidance.

Hello everyone!

I’m terrible at names here and in the real world so I’m asking for some help!

I’ve recently acquired a mare that I think will produce into a very nice show hunter type. She’s a TB and her current legal name just doesn’t fit her vibe.

Very Dark bay (almost black) with only a star. Quiet/sweet type.
Barn name is “Cora”. I’d love any ideas you guys have…

My only idea is maybe including the word “Encore” to tie the barn name in but that’s not a must!

What it says on the title - what are you breeding for right now? In need of some inspo and would love to give you some space to brag about your current special project! (Feel free to show off horses too!)

I'll be starting out very modest with my own: breeding for PT for show horses, and establishing lines from my own breed long-term. My biggest trouble is deciding whether to breed for light, medium, or heavy body type as they all look gorgeous and I want to keep those bloodlines separate.

I'll also be in trouble with choosing some colors to make standard in my breed so as I said, in need of some inspo XD I know it's a personal decision, but maybe seeing a particular idea or horse will blow my mind.

When to Spay a Mare?

Hi there! I am new to the game and am trying to prepare for the June breeding season with everything I've learned so far.

I'm moving my mares into pastures and wanted opinions on which ones I should be spaying instead. I'd estimate that around 40% of my mares are Yellow papered. Should be spaying my Yellow papered mares and only breeding the Reds? Should I look at each Yellow and decide individually? (Keep the special herd helpers, consistent showers, etc) Or maybe just breed them all to have more foals to choose from next month?

I'd love to hear from players that have been doing this for a while! Especially if you have other tips/things you wish you'd known starting out (:

What inspired your breed?

I imagine we all put some thought behind our breeds, so... showoff??

My current breed is called Volandian and I was really torn when I was making it whether to go strong Arabian-like features and then a fitting Draft, or more Iberian/Baroque and using Arabian for the Light body type (ended up with Polish Arabian, PRE, and Cob). So in my head it's a nice all-rounder breed with multiple lines and body types possible, but throughout characterized by flashy, elegant features and a good head on their necks.

I only realized when the name came from after looking at my bookshelf and seeing "The Master and Margarita" there, that one has a charactre named Woland. Oops XD

I will want a second breed as well in the future, named after my irl horse. It would possibly only exist in sport and riding pony types, and would have BCs along the lines of Crabbet Arabian/East Bulgarian bodies, as my horse is a Polish konik crossed with arabian, so has the features of a sturdy riding pony (think huculs, welsh ponies, icelandics) but a big higher with softer facials. So just make that a breed, have fun with that.

But yeah, what is your breed, where did it come from, both game-wise and story-wise?

Indigo Plateau Stables is a stable based out of Australia, likely originating as a front for a legally dubious distillery. The owner had a interest in horses and eventing, (and a general disregard for following rules) so many early horses were obtained, questionably from folks the owner didn't like, But she had a great passion and care for these horses asides from this, rehabbing many problem horses or rescuing those who were mistreated, and refining already high end horses to incredible champions, The modern stock of these horses are descendant from these both underdogs and high class stock horses.
The times of the lawless bushland have long since passed, the history of the distillery long in the past and the questionable legality left with it. the modern indigo plateau stables is focused mainly on horses and evening, and ensuring peak quality horses.

im a new player here, to be honest i have no clue what im doing, i just like pretty horses and pretending to have a barn, im also an artist, maybe interested in drawing horses.

So I’m just wondering what type of genes do people want to see for stud?

Obviously everyone has their own breeding lines & likes / dislikes, but I’m just curious as to what people think we lack genetic wise on their favourite colour of horses.

I personally would like to see more solid chestnuts & I like dilutes too personally (I’m in the process of breeding these), I was very much into my Appaloosa and Frames but I’m not so much anymore & I’m leaning my breeding projects away from this now.

What’s the genetics that you want to see more of? Why do you like them?
