Question about maxing/boosting and AFPT
-
I have noticed that boosted horses with *** papers created the best quality foals. I have some questions about selecting horses for maxing and boosting. I don’t want to make expensive mistakes just because I’m new lol
When selecting horses to boost do they have to be maxed to end up as a ***?
I imagine that Boosting studs with a high AFPT increases their foal PT? Can I even boost a horse that already has foals? -
You cannot boost horses that have been bred unless you sell the foals back to game and “erase” them.
I always max a horse before I boost them. I also recently learned that the clone of a maxed/boosted horse should be maxed before boosting to confirm you get the highest quality possible.
Also adding that from what I can tell there are 2 levels of *** papers.
*** is not achievable without a boost but for high quality ** horses a single 5% will make them ***.
If you clone a *** horse you can then boost said clone and will have a *** with 10% boost or “double boosted” as we call them. These horses are the best producers in game.ID# 1180
