Thank you so much to our incredible members who patiently waited with us while we worked to get background image generation running again.

For those unaware the most expensive part of running this game is the image generation. It's incredibly complex and expensive to keep a server farm running 24/7 365. For a while we had to disable images generating in the background. Because of a combination of optimization improvements by Haystack, the introduction of ads for free accounts, and wonderful support by our members we can now afford to get background image generation running again.

We have been slowly ramping up the image generation for several days now and everything looks stable and solid so we are ready to fully announce it now.

Here is our generation order of priority:
Two-year-olds owned by Premium+BC subscribers
Pasture foals owned by Premium+BC subscribers
Two-year-olds owned by Premium subscribers
Bulk tack updates for Premium+BC subscribers**

A Premium+BC subscriber is any member who has a premium subscription and a BC subscription, including the one month versions of these. A Premium subscriber is someone who has a premium subscription but not a BC subscription, including the one month versions of these.

Please note that only Premium+BC subscribers get auto generated pasture foals. Most pasture foals are never looked at. There is no reason for us to generate an image for them and then generate a second image when they get there adult image the following month. Because of that we are only double generating those images as a thank you to our Premium+BC subscribers.

We also are not automatically processing any image gen triggers based on age (other than age 2) or time (older than 3 months). We only want to pay for that image generation if someone actually cares about the image. If you want to force a barn to update it's images you will be able to do a bulk tack update (even if no tack changes) to force update them.

**Bulk tack updates are not currently running, but we expect these to also be live in about a week.
