Quick Genes Question!
-
This one is probably easy and I’m being silly. The Herd Helper “Out With a Bang” has the following in the description:This herd helper triggers the following primary herd helpers
Homozygous Red
Heterozygous Black
Homozygous Rec. Bay
Heterozygous Bay
….
How is one horse Hom Red and Het Black? Same with Bay. Do those contradict or am I missing something?
Thank you!! -
No it means this horse will always be e/E and a/A. Het black means ?/E. You have use the homozygous one to set both sides first if you want a specific mix of genes.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

I’m sorry I’m not sure what you mean by setting genes, doesn’t the game do that part for me?
Do you mean the triggers listed on a heard helper occur in the order listed when the horse is created? Like:
Default: ?/?
After first trigger: e/e
After second trigger: e/E
-
Yes they are listed in order. You don't need to worry about the specifics of why the game needs to use the triggers it does. Just know that it is intentional that they look like that.Need to contact me? Read this first.
