It's June and that means HAJ anniversary party time. This year we are celebrating with our Sweet 16 Candy bash party. You can already get in on the fun by signing up for the gift exchange (entries in BEFORE the 1st!) and sign your horses up for the brand new chocolate breeder's clubs.

That's right Fantasy: Chocolate has been added to the breeder club line up. We look forward to awarding our first chocolate trophies this year.

Gift exchange assignments will go out a few hours after rollover on the first. So be sure to keep an eye out for your assignments on the 1st so you can start shopping.

June Special and Deals
Each day we will have several randomly selected genes on sale. They change daily and may not reappear if you miss them. Make sure to check often if you are hunting for a specific gene.

The galloping sale will be going on all June, where you can catch items on special sale. The selection changes every few hours, but most items will be listed regularly, just keep an eye out.

Special Gene Sales
In addition to the random gene sales we will have 3 special genes on sale for all of June. Phantom Sparkle will return as our June signature gene. We also have 2 new genes coming to the server. The first is our new fantasy gene platinum, the second is a gray reduction gene basic on real life slow gray lineages. Keep an eye out for special forum posts will full info on platinum and gray reduction coming soon


Please welcome our new special event this year PonPon's Piñata Party! The Party starts on June 16th and we will be hunting for candy site wide. Everyone will be eligible to win GMTs by participating and being active on the site. More info will come once we get closer.

(In prior years we have had Sea Ponies in June. They will not be happening in June this year. Instead keep an eye out for them in July. )


Lots of Shiny New Creates!
Look out, we have 9 brand new herd helpers and 3 new all day events coming to the create a horse page. Herd helper schedule is already listed on the create a horse page.

The all day events will be:

Tule Fog (Gray Day) Sat. the 18th
Na Zdravi (Champagne Day) Sat the 25th



Finally we have part 1 and 2 of our new Barn Builder's tack pack series launching this month. These packs will allow you to fully customize your dream barn. They have hundreds of included items and are complex enough they will be getting their own post coming soon. Here is a sneak peak though.

Reminder about agouti and pasture updates!

Don't forget that we will be making changes to the agouti gene in the coming months. See the announcements section of the forum for full details. At the end of June pastures will most likely be set to their final 2x size foal cap per pasture. We will do some final analytics just to be sure before we make that change but that is when I am currently expecting it to happen. The pasture cap will then be staying at 2x permanently.

As a final note, Haystack, Flufflepuff, Jenx and myself are all visiting family and friends in Bulgaria for June and July. (Hurrah lifting travel restrictions!) You should not see too much disruption as we are setting up a remote HAJ HQ here but it does mean I will be in a very different time zone. If customer service response times seem a bit funny, that is the reason.
