    This horse is supposed to be black, why is his coat so much lighter?

    Sabino 1 (SB1) causes roaning, so I would guess this is just sabino expressing as roan, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

    SB1 hasn't caused roaning on any other horse I have though.

    They can have varying levels of roan. (I think) Although maybe some of your other horses just aren’t updated. Maybe regenerate some of them.

    That is interesting the way he has spots and almost freckled lips. I thought at first he was appy but he’s not.

    My guess is some sort of interaction with the white 2, sabino and frame going on. Those are all genes that can throw down a lot of white and make some interesting patterns when combined together.
