Pasture Size and Foals
-
So - I know that if I leave my mares with a stallion in the pasture, I'll get foals. And the way to get the best foals is to just leave them out there and let them do their thing, and on the 14th day of the season - voila! baby horses.
I know that I have one stallion (my very best papered one that isn't a baby still) and 15 breeding mares, plus 29 mares that have already foaled this season (to keep them on pasture until next season, to improve the quality I get from them them).
So the total horses in pasture is 45. When the 15 mares produce foals in a couple days, there will be a total of 60 horses.
But next season, if I leave them all out there, there will be the same 45 horses - and then there will be 89, when all 44 mares produce foals.
Will the pasture hold that many foals (initially, I mean)? -
Is your question whether you can keep the foals in there?
Pastures can hold an infinite number of foals (I think).
But you can't leave foals in pasture over rollover, or they will be deleted. 2+ year olds can be kept as long as you want.DarkPhoenix #15470 (she/her) ~ Premium Upgrade

Yes, that was the question - the number, not the duration. I know I need to move them or they'll go away.
