I was just dressing up my oldest mare that I have (who didn't pass away yet, which I'm lucky for.) And I am dearly fond of: But, I was struck with a thought about something including my favorite mare (the oldest to clarify) and a character site.

I HAVE read the rules about three times over, and found nothing that satiates my question. So, I came here to get it answered.


And my question is: Are we allowed to add HGG horses to character sites? I mentioned re-reading the rules 3x, and the rules never mentioned nor say anything about it.

My answer for why I'm asking this question: Since I am very fond of my oldest currently living mare, I want to make her into my own character (obvious NOT my own character, but something akin to it, if you know what I mean.)


The character site I use is very strict on rules and will not allow ANY characters or images on their site unless it's permitted by the creator says that it is okay (I own a LOT of different OCs), as long I give credit to said person who first created the creature of choice.

Or if I original own the character myself, and I own a lot of self-made characters that I love dearly and all to fictional love, and sometimes decession comes along and I am okay that they may not fit me anymore (the character site allows in-site selling, trading, or gifting/giving away (gifting/giving away is always free and is a rule for most creature creators when they don't want to sell their character off, so gifting/giving away is a good alternative).


But when it comes to my favorite, oldest mare- I just can't help but refuse to let the game take her away, even as I'm a mature, young adult into adolescence, even now- I just don't want her to simply disappear from the game forever.

I've had her than most of every of my horses that I've created, bred, and showed on this game (as well as bought). I'd like to keep her spirit going, even if she does one day disappear from this game, at least I'll have her memory as an akinned (yes A-kinned, I spelt it right) horse between game and human.


I know that it doesn't make sense for a human to latch onto a virtual horse, but that's me and I just love my favorite mare too much to (as mentioned before) let her go on this game. She's never had a foal on this game, never, but she reminds me of so much of one of my boss's ponies she brings out to work on holidays like festivals, 4th of July's, and markets no less.

I know it's idiotic, but I just really love this mare, I really do! And most of my most recent characters are characters that are allowed to be made into characters (example: I am on another horse game that allows their horses to be made into characters, as long as they aren't exactly like the in-game horse itself.)


I'm not implying any rules nor asking for any rules to be made, I'm just asking if it's allowed or okay for this game's horses to be turned into characters? And, like I said, I've re-read the rules before making this discussion thread.

I know what I'm doing and what I'm asking/questioning in a well-mannered, well-meaning way, I'm just curious and want to know what I'm doing before I do it.

Besides, once again mentioned as well, that the character site I use doesn't allow or permit characters unless it's allowed by the creators, is self made, or used by a f2u base being properly credited back towards the creator of the lines.
