    Ok, so I just joined. I got my herd helper (pale buckskin), did a bunch of the achievement quests and got my stable to 83 stalls (ish). Created all my herd helper horses, bought the cheap basic upgrade (so get training for free) and entered shows until the icon doesn't show.
    Now what? Should I breed the horses IF I can? I already did breed a couple foals in house since it was a quest to do (only 1 foal) but I had 4 mares that were breedable (riding horses). Now I have more (warmbloods).
    Is it best to do riding horses? warmbloods? ponies? I have NO idea what I'm supposed to do now :) any and all tips would be appreciated. I look forward to making some friends!!
    When and how do I get another herd helper? I like creating horses and right now I only have riding and warmblood. would like to expand to my ponies, cobs and drafts or is that too fast? should I save hbs?

    Welcome and it sounds like you're off to a great start!

    First answers to some of your questions:
    - Show horses are more important than breeding when starting out (more on that below)
    - Breed type doesn't matter, although I've noticed this server is low on pony breeders so if I was starting fresh I would focus there to be more competitive!
    - You get 5 free herd helper rolls per day (found at bottom of Create a Horse page). There is also a daily herd helper thread on the forum every day!

    This thread is a fascinating account of the Owner of this game (Ammit) starting a brand new account and what her goals and achievements were each month and how she focused on showing over breeding.
