How many horses should I have?
-
Hi all! I’m a fairly new player. I’ve been trying out this game for the past week. I’ve been having fun. I was able to unlock a basic upgrade with my hbu monies. I feel like I have a crazy amount of horses. But I don’t know what’s normal.
Also, how do you decide what horses to geld or spay to keep as show horses? I have lots of stallions and mares. And I’m sure even though plenty of them pass the BA, I don’t need them all, right? -
You do not have too many horses. I have 7447 at the moment :)
I try to geld/spay most of the foals I breed. Also alter any horses you aren't directly using for breeding. As you breed better quality, fewer horses pass SBA/BA, which really helps with narrowing down your breeding stock. :D
For now, keep the horses you want to breed. It honestly doesn't really matter. Test them with BA/SBA and you can comparison test too if you want. You can max a few if you want. It's up to you.DarkPhoenix #15470 (she/her) ~ Premium Upgrade

10,000 is pretty common for the big self supporting stables that have been here a few years.
Owning 1 intact horse mare/stallion for 10 show horses is a good ratio.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )
