You are allowed to stand a horse privatly in a chat room. You are allowed to sell straws privately to other players. You are allowed to say "in order to be in the breeding chat room", or "in order for me to keep sending you straws you must follow these rules". You are not allowed to put breeding rules in the notes on your horse's page. You are not allowed to use the public breeding/ai lists and have rules for that horse.

The reason we clamped down on this is people making rules, leads to people thinking they have a right to tell other players what they do with foals that other player created and owns. It creates a situation that makes players neurotic and obsessive trying to control the actions of other players. There is a reason we have things set up so the actions of other players can never negatively impact your stallion. It's to prevent any incentive to start that control spiral in the first place.

Basically we used to allow breeding rules and it caused no end of toxic drama. We found they are on a whole a bad thing both for the player making them and the players being subjected to them. What you do privately we will not police but I suggest you go down the road of stallion rules. Either stand your stallions to others or don't but don't try to do both. That is the road to unhappiness.

So what exactly are you calling a private breeder? Because you are the first to use that term with this game so I want to make sure I understand what you mean.

I don't think anyone as done something like that before. It sounds like you might be trying to emulate a stallion syndication? Where people buy into a stallion and share the ownership of it. We would not allow something like that.

If you just want to give free straws to your friends in a chat room, you should do that. I don't think there needs to be extra complications and layers placed on it.
