Stallion vs his foals
  • Hello! So I have the free version of the game, I don’t pay for anything (yet) but I have one stallion who looks really well made, good numbers and all the jazz from what I understand (I’m still learning everything so I might be reading it wrong) but almost every foal he has sired, no matter the mare (and I’ve foaled these mares before and they had good foals) the free breeding advice says that it’s not recommended for these foals to be bred. What is it I’m misreading about my stallions information that’s making the breeding advice of his foal be so bad? I did the breeding advice for him too, and said he was all good and I should breed him. Any help would be amazing.

  • This guy is the max quality of foundation (ex perfect Herd helper). He will produce the best with mares of the same rank. From there it’s a little bit of luck hoping they produce superior quality goals that will pass breeding advice. Those odds are made better by things like pasture bonus. You can also always max a foal that you are fond of so it passes!

  • Gooootcha okay. So it’s not that he’s a bad producer it’s just that without a mare that’s ALSO as good as him, all of his foals won’t be better than than him BUT will still be good quality? Now I wish I didn’t listen to the breeding advice and flex/spay all his foals
  • I personally always listen to the breeding advice.
Sometimes it’s just luck of the draw even with 2 equally quality horses. Keep breeding him to exceptional mares and you should get some quality offspring that pass breeding advice!

  • Breeding advice knows best and is giving you good advice. Most horses do not outproduce themselves in quality most of the time, just like real life.
