What causes diffused patterns?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to replicate a coat on one of my favorite horses, but all her offsprings have diffused spots. Which gene causes the diffusion?

E0 Velvet Tessera
One of the fillies for example:
FE E0 Intimate
Other foals:
