More Question on Clones
-
If you clone an archived foundation, and both the archived horse and the clone are in the first generation, does it show as inbred or 0% assuming all other foundations are unique? I know genetically they are identical but wasn't sure if that affected inbreeding.
Thank you! -
Clones count as a new horse in the pedigree.Need to contact me? Read this first.

If I clone a foal that is already at max, naturally occurring, wouldnt the cloned also be maxed? The original foal was also boosted. The guide states you dont have to max clones. However, checking to see, and the clone was not at max. What am i missing? :-/

You are missing that breeding and training ability are not the same number.
Breeding ability (DNA) stays the same with cloning. Training ability can fluctuate. There was no reason to max that foal except for you wanting a higher PT. It did nothing for the breeding ability.Need to contact me? Read this first.
