How do you determine your "best" horse?
-
New here and just trying to get my hooves on the turf! How do I determine which of my horses are the ones that I should focus on for breeding? I've tried reading through the wiki etc, but I'm honestly a little slow witted when it comes to things like this.
TIA!

Breeding quality and show quality (training ability) are separate Factors. Typically a horse’s paper level can tell you their breeding ability. While PT tells you their performance ability. However, and this is where it gets more confusing, higher breeding quality horses typically produce horses with higher PTs lol.
I usually run all my horses thru The breeding advice test on the control panel. It will Geld/Spay anything not worth breeding. Starting out in the game, you want a lot of show horses so, anything that doesn’t pass breeding advice, you can still keep and show them. -
I agree with what @AquariusRanch said. I’ll also add that any colts I keep I make sure are superior to their Sire with the comparison test.
Try to hang on to as many spayed/gelded horses as possible. They are what give you funds long term!ID# 1180
