Pseudo in horse color name?

    Hi everyone!
    I've been doing a little snooping to see what recessive cream horses you guys have gotten so far and I noticed these 2 having "Pseudo" in their names. What does it mean? Is this a new color descriptor? Does it only work for rc horses?

    They're very unique, I found only 2 such horses:

    Pseudo means false. Same as for pseudo double dilutes. These horses are a false buckskin and a false palomino. rc/rc horses are not cream so can't be true palominos or buckskins dispite looking like them.

    Thank you Ammit. I'm still learning and try to understand how the genetics work. Would these horses be buckskin dun and palomino dun respectively if they didn't have rc/rc?

    No. They have no cream gene so are not buckskin or palomino.
