Kit Complex - What do they look like?
-
Hello,
I'm a returning player and boy oh boy, the number of Kit complexes has expanded a LOT since I was last online. Can anyone give me examples of what the different Kit genes look like in the game? I'm mostly interested in DDW, M, W15 and W29?
I tried to use the search function but the ones I found have so many other flashy genes that it's hard to tell what is the kit and what is another gene.
I also was wondering where Sab2 and 3 went? (I think there was a 3 at one point but I could be completely wrong about that). -
Hi there,
welcome back!
Kit M is one of my favorite mutations that I like to breed for. Here's a good M/M example, she also got a bunch of foals, so you can see how it looks when it's heterozygous and how it's affected by kit promoter:

W15 is very minimal, but will turn the horse white when it's W15/W15:

Welcome back! We never had a sabino 3, SB2 is now w15

Just wanted to add that maybe you were thinking of W3 when you mentioned Sabino 3. W3 was changed to W29.
So quick reference on changes
SB2 --> W15
W3 --> W29
Old White Factor (minimal, large etc) replaced with HPS5 White Factor gene
Definitely other new genes like DDW but those are the 3 major changes I can think of.Thanked by 1Ammit
