Which to geld?
  • After my first successful months of breeding I have about 15 stallions in my primary barn. I want to reduce them to 4-5 because it's not necessary ofc to keep that many.

In every comparison test I have done, they all come out 'about the same'. (
  • Glad you had a successful season this go around!

I would ask what you need a new stallion for. What do you plan to use them for and then go from there.
Need to contact me? Read this first.

I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

  • When I have a bunch of Stallions who comparison test the same I usually choose to keep the ones I find prettiest/meet my color goals or preferences!
  • Personally I would choose to keep the stallions that have the best chances of passing down genes I prefer. For example if I have to choose between two stallions that both carry snow, but one has one copy and the other has two copies I would choose to keep the one with two copies and either geld or sell the other stallion
  • When I compared some stallions ones with A where just as good as the ones with B. So is the A one better just because it says A ?

I want them to be allrounders lol. Everything as high as possible. Ofcourse I like color as well but I want good strong lines of sport ponies. There aren't as much ponies as bigger horses in this game so I want to change that.

Do you mean A and B papered stallions?
When you compare A to B papered horses and it says "about as good as" it means that they can have up to 2% difference in breeding ability. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I deducted from reading forum :D

Answering your question A is better than B, but the difference could be negligible in your case. If you like them both equally, I'd suggest keeping A-papered stallion.
