Most Expensive Auction Horse

Does anyone know what horse sold for the most in auction and what price is sold for at the end?
I’m genuinely curious since there’s been times I’ve seen horses go for 1 million or even more in auction.

I'm assuming it'd probably be a couple million because a player really wanted the horse.
It's would be cool to see what horse sold for the most just for the aspect of the history of this game.
Side note- I definitely would not use how much horses have gone for to set a benchmark for pricing horses. It's always better to base it off of the horse (genes and how much it is to recreate a horse similar).

Most expensive horse ever sold was for 8 million but that was probably a payment horse.
