As a newer player he’s a good addition to your breeding program.

Looking at his pedigree, his father is one of the top producing studs (Double Boosted and 15.5 PT - that’s about max ability) and comes from a reasonable breeder Rhapsody.

He is already bred so you won’t be able to boost him but he’ll give you good show foals if you do decide to breed him, otherwise geld him and he’ll start winning more points and potentially win you awards in the Breeder Clubs.

This is just my personal opinion though, as your barn becomes bigger he probably won’t be the “best” depending on what direction you decide to go in.

Live Cover [no straws/eggs]

Below is the part you are specifically asking about:

Live Cover or Pasture Breeding with 0 Days: 66% of foals will fail breeding advice, 33% will pass.
Pasture Breeding with 15 days: 57.5% of foals will fail breeding advice, 42.5% will pass.
Pasture Breeding with 30 days: 10.75% of foals will fail breeding advice, 89.25% will pass.

Also boosting a horse is mostly for top quality horses. Most of us boost our 14.80 PT or higher horses. Though I do have a boosted 14.10 PT stallion that did amazing.

Boosting gives the horse a solid breeding boost, meaning better foals. It does not guarantee they pass breeding inspection. Foals from a double boosted horse will never pass Strict Breeding Advice unless they are also double boosted. The foal cant be as great as a double boosted parent when the foal itself doesnt even have a single boost itself.

Double boosted horses are normally 15 PT or higher. A double boosted horse has had a breeding boost applied, the horse was cloned, and the clone now has been boosted again. When cloned, the clone retains the original breeding boost status and can be boosted again.
