Will he turn gray based on his color/genetics?
  • I'm the tiniest bit confused about this boy. He is genetically and has the color title for gray, but does not appear gray at all. Will he gray out with age as a real horse does? Or is something afoot? He's a stallion prospect and I'm really hoping I can use him for a gray blue/black roan project!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but horses with the gray gene will always lighten over time, but the speed at which they lighten is variable and depends on the genetics. So I think it applies the same to HorseGeneticsGame. Especially because HGG has the ability to refresh and show updates in a horse's appearance.

I'm a little confused though. When you say that you want to use RTS EYEOFTHESTORM as part of a gray blue/black roan project, do you mean that you're making a breed that is either blue roan or gray (sort of like how the Percheron is either black or gray IRL). Or is it something else?
  • I wanna create black based gray roans, if that even exists in the game, haven't checked yet. Since he's Gray Bay Splash Appaloosa as his color, my goal would be Gray Black/Blue Roan Appaloosa or something similar.
  • This is an example of the horse I'm trying to create! If you click on her, she's Gray Blue (aka Black) Roan Appaloosa!

My end goal is to stack a bunch of white or gray genes on top of my favorite color combos. I wanna get something another game I play would call "ghost horses", where they're virtually fully white, but are some insane color genetically!
