This line happened by accident but I am absolutely loving the combination of cream and Ice 20, hence the "Ice Cream" line. It all started with this guy..

On this server I breed palominos and cremellos, but I have fallen in love with the way that one cream gene and one pearl gene look on chestnut based horses. This one is a good example of what I mean.

Thanks @rachrobe! @minimum I love that combination too! Do you have any sun/snow in your lines? They interact almost the same way as pearl does when combined with cream!

This is super cool!! I’ve recently started to get more into the ice genes. I am trying to breed more up to introduce into my nacre/axiom line. This guy is the first I have with all three and I’m excited to breed him next month. I really love the distressed look on top of the nacre.

That looks so cool @katieb! I don't have nacre on Mesa, but I do on Bluegrass and I instantly thought of this girl who I absolutely love who has both nacre and Ice 20.

I really like playing with the axiom Gene's mixed with thunder and sometimes chimera at the same time. They definitely can create some interesting horses. And if i can sneak chinchilla in there too I find they're really pretty.

Thanks for sharing @kentucky241! Thunderstruck is one of the few genes I haven't used at all but it looks awesome!

Chinchilla is another awesome gene, but it can be tricky. It has to be hom. to show and it removes all red pigment. Unfortunately this means it will always leave red based horses (ee) white and won't have any effect on a plain black horse because there isn't any red pigment to remove. I have found that it looks the best on silver black horses which I breed a lot of on Bluegrass! :)

That makes sense. I have a few het Chinchilla in my group, so if they come together then they can make hom chinchilla. It's good to know about making ee horses white. That's interesting. I'll keep that in mind.
