Chocolate and Ice Genes

    Hello friends,

    I know the chocolate gene and certain ice genes need to be purchased. If I breed a horse that is het for one of those, is it possible to be passed on or must it always be purchased?

    Good morning OneSaltyMitch!

    Once your chosen gene is on a horse's genotype, it can be bred/passed onto its foals!

    Chocolate can also be brought with Genetic Modification Tokens (15 GMTs per copy) under Advanced Facilities tab on the left and put on a foundation horse of your choice. I don't think any of the ice genes are available in the GMT lab at this point.

    the ice gene is able to be added GMT's. I think it might depend on the horse though. I acted like I was going to mod 3 of my horses and it showed up for 2 of the 3
