Special Gene Sales

This page allows you to order a gene for any applicable horse in the game owed by any player. The owner of the horse will receive the gene license for any closed genes. You may modify the genetics of any horse that is unbred, gene tested, foundation and not a clone. To make the horse homozygous for a gene, add strand one to the cart, then return to this page to add strand two.

It is your responsibility to double check that you have selected the right horse, owned by the right player.

Powder White

Gene Example and Info: Powder White is located near the KIT gene and produces lacy markings on the spine, legs, and face. It does not interact with sabino, white genes, or impact white lethality levels. It requires one copy to show. Two copies make denser white markings across the back but do not increase the marking size. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Kit Promoter

Gene Example and Info: When there are two KIT mutations present and two copies of KP a cascade failure in pigment can occur resulting in completely random white markings. Size is influenced by white factor. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Phantom Shamrock

Gene Example and Info: Phantom Shamrock will add shamrocks to pinto markings. Look for the hidden four-leaf clovers! It requires only one copy to show. Can be hidden by appaloosa markings. Available for purchase in March and October only. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.

Rainbow Riot 2 Void

Gene Example and Info: Void converts white markings into pure black. (Does not change ice, grey, chinchilla, or dilutes.) Does not twist, tear images, or cause discoloration like wrong warp. Only requires one copy to show. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.

Rainbow Riot Paintbrush Cool

Gene Example and Info: The paintbrush fantasy genes will paint a horse's mane and tail with streaks of color. One copy of Warm or Cool adds one color, two copies of Warm or Cool adds two different colors. Prism adds a rainbow effect. Only requires only copy to show but it is more vivid with two copies. Note: Paintbrush will only show if added to the primary DNA set on chimeric horses. It does not show on secondary DNA. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.

Storm Cloud

Gene Example and Info: Storm Cloud is an allele of the tobiano modifier gene. It requires one copy of TMSC and one copy of tobiano to show and creates storm clouds in the white areas of tobiano. Storm clouds require room to form. They may not appear on low white horses. Rerolling the seed can force them to appear. This gene will overwrite Shatterglass and Jewelbox. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.
